Description

Under the umbrella of the ELER-funded program, investments in high-quality, flexible, and decentralized social services in Lower Austria will be supported in the future. Public institutions and non-profit organizations can continuously submit applications via the AMA Digital Funding Platform until December 31, 2027, primarily to expand early childhood education and care facilities for children under three years old, improve nursing and day centers, expand psychosocial and social psychiatric care services, as well as create mobile pick-up, drop-off, and service offerings. The goal is to provide noticeable relief for families, optimize support for elderly and care-dependent individuals, and strengthen psychosocial assistance for children, adolescents, refugees, and people with support needs. Both tangible and intangible investments as well as planning and consulting costs are eligible for funding, provided that projects are implemented in rural areas and that the low-energy building standard plus OIB guideline 6 is met for building investments.

The funding amount is a flat rate of 65% of the recognized expenses, with the total investment required to be between €50,000 and €5,000,000. Applicants submit a project description including a financing plan and cost plausibility verification and provide evidence of rural location, energy efficiency, and project completion. Selection is based on transparent criteria regarding quality content, needs orientation, sustainability, regional anchoring, and cost efficiency. An advisory panel evaluates the submitted documents in regular selection procedures. This promotes the compatibility of family, work, and private life as well as the strengthening of a vibrant social infrastructure in the regions of Lower Austria.
