ERP-Förderkredit KMU

Loan program for financing start-ups, successions, and investments for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) as well as freelancers, with up to 100% financing of eligible costs, up to €25 million per project. Applications can be submitted at any time through a domestic financing partner.

Funding objective

Promotion of investments and operating resources as well as the founding, succession, and participation of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), sole proprietors, and freelancers at home and abroad.

  • Founders
  • Companies
  • Individuals

Funding requirements

  • SMEs according to the EU definition (fewer than 250 employees, annual turnover ≤ €50 million or annual balance sheet total ≤ €43 million)
  • Application submission before project commencement with a domestic financing partner
  • Compliance with the KfW exclusion list and adherence to environmental and social standards
  • No financing of debt restructuring, refinancing of already completed projects, trust arrangements, silent partnerships, asset transfers, financing of residential buildings, and financial investments

  3. De minimis declaration
  4. Cumulative aid declaration of the final borrower
