Description

With the ESF – 100 Additional Training Places program, the state of North Rhine-Westphalia supports the inclusive vocational training of adolescents and young adults with physical, sensory, psychological, or multiple disabilities using funds from the European Social Fund. The goal is to create additional training places where individually tailored support and promotion are ensured. Public institutions, especially vocational training centers and vocational rehabilitation centers according to § 51 SGB IX, receive financial grants to expand their infrastructural and personnel capacities for disability-specific support. Applications can be submitted at any time before the start of the measure and are processed easily through the approval authority in Arnsberg. The type and scope of funding are determined according to the current funding guidelines and contribute to strengthening the vocational integration of disadvantaged target groups in North Rhine-Westphalia.

Eligible for funding are public providers authorized to offer training under the Vocational Training Act (BBiG) or the Crafts Code (HWO), with proven professional qualifications for disability-specific support and available free capacities. Applications must be submitted before the respective training start to ensure timely availability of funds. The funding initiative explicitly targets young people with disabilities who seek qualified training and rely on professional support. By providing additional places, equal opportunities for participation in working life are promoted, and workforce resilience in the region is strengthened. Further information on the application process is available from the District Government of Arnsberg.
