Description

Within the framework of the ESF+ 21-27 call "Living and Working in Vorarlberg," companies, public institutions, interest groups, and other associations receive support to integrate refugees and displaced persons with permanent residence status and low educational levels into everyday life and the regional labor market. The target group mainly comprises men and, in gender-homogeneous modules, also women with German language skills from A1 level upwards, primarily from Syria, Afghanistan, and Somalia, without formal qualifications or with a maximum of compulsory schooling. Through a combined concept of everyday orientation, German and mathematics support, as well as individual career guidance, communication barriers are reduced and social networks are established. Practical experience through work training in regional companies enables direct connection to business realities and prepares participants for further qualifications. The program aims to integrate participants permanently into fully insured employment relationships and to develop individual potential for long-term career prospects.

Funding is provided as a grant and can be applied for continuously from October 10, 2023, until the budget is exhausted. Eligible applicants are legal entities under public and private law as well as companies with headquarters or branches in Vorarlberg. Personnel expenses, material and travel costs are eligible for funding; applications are submitted electronically via IDEA. A jury-based ranking decides based on realistic cost planning, the quality of the concept, the qualifications and experience of the personnel deployed, regional networking, and experience with the target group. Application documents include information about the applicant, a description of services and the project, a cost and financing plan, a schedule, proof of own contributions, evidence of financial, administrative, and operational capacity, information on previous public funding, and a signed application. The thematic focus on education & training, migration, work & social affairs makes a sustainable contribution to social participation and economic stabilization in Vorarlberg.
