ESF Funding Guideline Vocational Education – Educational Coaches

The ESF funding guideline "Vocational Education – Educational Coaches" in Hesse supports public institutions, companies, non-profit organizations, and educational providers in establishing individual coaching in companies and educational institutions. With a funding rate of up to 50%, personnel expenses for educational coaches, training costs, and material expenses can be co-financed. Eligible for funding are project sponsors with headquarters or branches in Hesse whose projects are located in the field of vocational education. Applications can be submitted continuously; however, retroactive allocation of funds is excluded. Concepts are evaluated based on their level of innovation, effectiveness, sustainability, and suitability for the target group.

For the application, a detailed project description, a financing plan, and proof of the coaches' qualifications including CVs are required. The Wirtschafts- und Infrastrukturbank Hessen (WIBank) coordinates the approval and administration of the funding – from verifying eligibility to monitoring and usage verification – as the certification authority of the European Social Fund (ESF+) in cooperation with the Hessian Ministry of Economics, Energy, Transport, Housing, and Rural Areas. The funding instrument aims to provide tailored support to participants in vocational education and to sustainably strengthen skills development in Hesse.
