Description
The ESF plus Berlin funding, supported by the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+), focuses on innovative labor market policy measures to improve employment opportunities, training, and qualification in the capital. With a broad funding mandate, measures are created that aim to reduce disadvantages and promote social integration in the areas of business financing, start-ups, employment, vocational and further training, as well as advisory services. Various actors such as educational institutions, start-up founders, public institutions, companies, private individuals, and interest groups benefit from a grant that financially supports specific projects and initiatives, thereby paving the way for forward-looking developments.
The funding program is aimed at natural and legal persons who meet the respective program-specific requirements. The grant financing enables targeted use of labor market policy instruments—whether for the qualification of skilled workers, support of start-up initiatives, or integration of disadvantaged groups. With a particular focus on women-specific qualification and orientation offers as well as comprehensive advisory services on business financing, ESF plus Berlin contributes to strengthening social and economic cohesion in the region. The close cooperation with the Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Enterprises underscores the strategic nature of the funding measures. Through clearly defined application periods and transparent funding conditions, the program creates a sustainable basis for successful projects that contribute to the further development of the Berlin labor market and the regional economy.
