Description
The European Social Fund Plus (ESF+) in Rhineland-Palatinate provides a variety of funding as grants for labor market and employment policy projects. The goal is the long-term creation and safeguarding of employment, strengthening skilled labor, as well as promoting lifelong learning, social inclusion, and poverty reduction. Project calls are issued regularly and are aligned with the priorities of the EU strategy "Social Europe." Funding is particularly aimed at projects that promote equal opportunities in vocational education (ESO 4.6), strengthen lifelong learning (ESO 4.7), or improve active inclusion and employability of disadvantaged groups (ESO 4.8). With a clearly structured competitive procedure and professional initial consultation through the ESF advisory office, promising initiatives are efficiently selected and supported.
Eligible for funding are legal entities under public and private law as well as companies with headquarters or branches in Rhineland-Palatinate that possess proven experience and professional competencies. Implementation must take place entirely within Rhineland-Palatinate, with participants residing or working in the region. Accreditation with the ESF advisory office, professionally qualified project staff, and proof of cooperation are mandatory prerequisites. Funding applications may only be submitted after formal approval of the competitive procedure and before the project begins. The project duration is set at 12 months to ensure a planned and sustainable implementation. Through close coordination with the Ministry of Labor, Social Affairs, Transformation and Digitization as well as the State Office for Social Affairs, Youth and Supply, applicants benefit from comprehensive support throughout the entire funding process.
