Export Offensive

The "Export Offensive" strengthens the international competitiveness of Carinthian companies through targeted subsidies for foreign trade activities. Eligible for funding are businesses based in Carinthia that wish to expand their export strategies. The focus is on participation in international trade fairs, the establishment and maintenance of contacts in new target regions – especially overseas markets – as well as accompanying training programs and consultations. Through university cooperations and specialized seminars, participants receive valuable impulses to optimally adapt existing business models to global requirements and to establish sustainable networks. The continuous funding opportunities allow for flexible use of funds once sufficient budget is available from January 1, 2025.

With this subsidy, the Office of the Carinthian State Government – Department 7 Economy, Tourism and Mobility – supports the development of new markets and thus the long-term strengthening of Carinthia’s export markets. Prerequisites for funding include a concluded cooperation agreement, a clear focus on overseas regions, proof of trade fair participation, and active participation in economic events. The measure aims to specifically accompany and professionally train export entrepreneurs. In addition to financial relief, companies benefit from improved market positioning and expanded business relationships. Applications can be submitted from the stated start date until the funding volume is exhausted, allowing for rapid responses to market developments.
