Description
The Sports Association Funding of the City of Vienna is aimed at non-profit Viennese sports associations based in Vienna that promote a sport recognized in Vienna and have no insolvency proceedings pending. With indefinitely open application deadlines, grants can be applied for at any time to strengthen the ongoing administrative work of the associations and to support measures in both grassroots and competitive sports. The total number of national and Austrian championship titles, membership and club numbers, as well as the Olympic status of the sport, are taken into account in the funding evaluation. The aim of the funding is to sustainably improve the framework conditions for sports organizations, sports clubs, and athletes in Vienna and to promote movement, integration, and performance development through targeted financial resources.
