Description
The state of Carinthia supports low-income families with a subsidy for the holiday care of their children. The aim is to provide cost-appropriate relief to custodial parents who have their main residence in Carinthia together with the child or children and receive family allowance. Actual participation fees incurred within the framework of holiday care programs in the federal state are funded. Applications can be submitted each year from June 1 to November 30, with financial support provided as a reimbursement of costs and thus paid directly to the applying families.
Eligible for funding are all custodial persons who can provide proof of receiving family allowance as well as a participation confirmation including invoice and proof of payment. Additionally, a registration certificate for applicants and cared-for children, as well as proof of family income, is required to ensure that the established income limits are not exceeded. The decision on funding is made at the discretion of the authorities based on the guideline "Holiday Care – Financial Support." A complete application within the specified period and compliance with formal requirements ensure prompt review and disbursement of the subsidy.
