The City of Vienna provides funding within the framework of its child and youth welfare program for non-profit associations and organizations that implement projects and services supporting a violence-free and child-appropriate upbringing. The goal is to offer individual assistance to children and their families as well as to sustainably improve the quality of life in Vienna. Applications can be submitted continuously from 01.01.2022 until the available budget is exhausted. Funding is granted in the form of direct subsidies and covers both individual grants for time-limited projects and overall funding to cover the deficit of an entire activity. Evaluation criteria particularly include the public interest and the specific connection to the Vienna metropolitan area, demonstrated financial need, as well as the coherence and completeness of the submitted documents.
