Description

Aktion Mensch supports inclusive projects with the funding initiative "Making a Statement! For More Respect and Diversity" that empower young people up to 27 years old to recognize exclusion in school, leisure, and digital environments and to actively counteract it. Nationwide eligible initiatives aim to strengthen social and democratic competencies, raise awareness of diversity, and enable equal participation. Eligible to apply are non-profit organizations recognized under § 75 SGB VIII or members of a welfare association, which implement creative formats in cooperation with participants. Without own funds, honoraria, material costs, and expenses for creating accessibility can be funded up to €7,500. The submission period runs from October 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026, or until funds are exhausted.

Projects may run for a maximum of 12 months and must not exceed total costs of €15,000. Up to three approvals per legal entity are possible; early project start is permitted. The maximum amount for structural, linguistic, and media accessibility is €2,500. The funding rate is 100%, and own funds are not required. Eligible costs include honoraria, material costs, and expenses for creating accessibility. Particularly welcome are participatory, inclusive approaches that involve young people as active co-creators and set visible signs for respect and cohesion through public relations, workshops, artistic actions, or social media formats. The goal is a sustainable contribution to empathetic coexistence and the strengthening of social cohesion.
