Funding Application – Wolfgang Oehme – Cycling Foundation of the BDR

The Wolfgang Oehme – Cycling Foundation of the German Cycling Federation (Bund Deutscher Radfahrer e. V.) supports dedicated cyclists throughout Germany with targeted grants for accident assistance, youth development, scholarships, and awards. Through the online application form, eligible members of the German Cycling Federation can apply for financial support as soon as an uncovered emergency care situation arises following a bicycle accident. At the same time, the foundation honors outstanding achievements of young athletes in the cycling youth through premiums and scholarships, who have been nominated upon the proposal of a BDR governing body. In doing so, the foundation makes an important contribution to the health and further athletic development of the cycling community as well as to the recognition of talented young talents.

For accident assistance, in addition to membership in the German Cycling Federation, a documented accident, initial medical care, the review of insurance-related aspects, and a complete application are required. In the area of scholarships and awards, applicants must be members of a BDR club at the time of application, belong to the cycling youth, and demonstrate outstanding athletic performance. The submission includes basic information such as name, email, phone number, and details of the funding request. Continuous application submission is possible online at any time.
