The goal is to alleviate chronic pain in those affected and to strengthen arachnopathy research and related scientific fields. Funding is provided both for individual measures for persons with a confirmed arachnopathy diagnosis and chronic pain, and for research and teaching projects at universities and scientific institutions. Expenses for personnel, material resources, travel costs, and publications can be applied for over an indefinite period. Applications are accepted continuously, allowing funded projects to start flexibly at the most appropriate time.
Eligible to participate are private individuals, educational institutions, non-profit and public organizations with verified arachnopathy or corresponding research activities. A complete application is required, including a project description (approx. 10 pages including work program), cost and timeline plan, scientific CV, publication list (max. five key works), and proof of diagnosis or research activity. In the evaluation process, the relevance to the foundation’s purpose, scientific quality, and significance for arachnopathy research are paramount. Funding is provided as a pioneering grant to empower affected individuals and researchers to sustainably advance new insights and patient-centered treatment concepts.
