Description
The funding awards for outstanding achievements in vocational training annually honor particularly talented graduates of dual training programs in the district of the IHK Südlicher Oberrhein. With the aim of recognizing excellent qualifications and promoting targeted talent development, the awards provide recipients with additional educational and mobility opportunities – including international advanced training seminars. Supported by the IHK Foundation Südlicher Oberrhein, the funding is dedicated to sustainably strengthening the regional skilled labor potential in Baden-Württemberg.
All graduates are invited to participate directly by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce. The awards are based on the evaluation of top performance in the final training examination, with each prize endowed with up to €5,000. The funding awards are granted continuously and cover a wide range of training occupations – from commercial to technical to craft professions. Interested graduates who impress with their outstanding exam results benefit not only from financial support but also from a valuable signal to future employers.
