Description
The Leben pur Funding Awards annually recognize outstanding scientific and practice-oriented work in Germany that makes an innovative contribution to improving the quality of life for people with complex disabilities. Private households, non-profit organizations, and educational institutions are invited to participate and submit concept studies, dissertations, or practical projects depending on the thematic area – ranging from health and care to inclusion and digital participation. With this award, the Leben pur Foundation honors interdisciplinary approaches that impress both through a high degree of innovation and methodological quality and are relevant to people with complex impairments.
The continuously announced funding awards, granted as recognitions, are open to researchers, professionals, and organizations presenting work on the quality of life of this target group. Submission requires a meaningful summary of the work, a tabular curriculum vitae, and all relevant publication references. Evaluation is based on the criteria of innovativeness, relevance for people with complex disabilities, as well as scientific and methodological quality. Specific deadlines, annual themes, and further information are announced on the Foundation’s website. Participation offers the opportunity to receive recognition for pioneering projects and support for future funding initiatives.
