Description
The CELTIS Foundation offers an ongoing sponsorship program in Bavaria that financially supports public institutions such as the Celtis Gymnasium in areas not covered by the state. The goal is to promote the artistic, athletic, technical, and other school activities of students. With an annual contribution starting at €15, anyone can become a member of the support association and thus strengthen the diversity of learning and leisure opportunities at the gymnasium in the long term. Due to the non-profit status of the association, both the contribution and additional donations are tax-deductible, and all members receive the gymnasium’s annual report.
Funding is provided, among other things, for the acquisition of equipment such as table tennis tables or musical instruments, coverage of costs for foreign newspapers, travel expenses for class trips and student exchanges, as well as projects in the areas of theater, music, and tutoring systems. The student newspaper, annual report, and book awards for particularly committed learners also receive financial support. Applications can be submitted at any time; the prerequisite is a completed membership application and a SEPA Core Direct Debit Mandate for the annual membership fee. In this way, the support association helps ensure that school projects can be realized without financial barriers.
