Description

The funding program of the Zukunft im Wittekindskreis Foundation has supported projects in a wide range of socially relevant areas since its inception. The foundation focuses on initiatives in the fields of education, science and research, culture, environmental and nature conservation, as well as community-oriented measures. The program is aimed at non-profit organizations and educational institutions with a regional connection to North Rhine-Westphalia, particularly the district of Herford. The diverse funding areas include, in addition to educational and cultural projects, engagement in disaster relief, social services, and the promotion of sports, media, and energy efficiency. The foundation offers ongoing funding opportunities, thereby continuously expanding support for projects that contribute to strengthening social cohesion and sustainable development.

Within the framework of the funding program, projects that make a significant contribution in the aforementioned areas are to be financially supported. Initiatives are promoted that, for example, focus on improving educational offerings, fostering research and innovation, as well as preserving and enhancing environmental and climate protection. Projects dedicated to local heritage and cultural identity or addressing social challenges such as youth and elderly care, welfare services, and the public health sector are also recognized. To apply for this funding, a written application is required, which must be accompanied by the organization's statutes, documentation such as an excerpt from the register of associations, and the certificate of non-profit status.

The implementation of the funding program is carried out under strict funding requirements to ensure that the submitted projects have a direct and sustainable regional benefit. The foundation places great importance on a transparent and comprehensible funding process that follows the established principles of good foundation practice. The participation conditions are clearly defined and target actors who contribute with their projects to social development and the preservation of cultural values. With targeted financial support, the Zukunft im Wittekindskreis Foundation aims to lay the foundation for innovative and forward-looking initiatives that generate long-term positive effects for the community in North Rhine-Westphalia.
