Description

The funding program "Young Volunteering" in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania is aimed at committed participants up to 27 years old who are active in a non-profit association and wish to realize their own project ideas. The focus is on strengthening social cohesion, democracy, as well as social and youth-related initiatives. Associations or interest groups can apply at any time for a one-time grant of up to €1,000. The goal is to support young volunteers in the independent planning and implementation of tailored projects and thereby set forward-looking impulses for local club work.

To apply, an independent project description must be submitted, developed either collaboratively within the team or individually. Applicants require the approval of the association’s board, a valid tax exemption certificate, and the current digital version of the association’s statutes. The total project costs must not exceed €1,000, and there must be at least twelve weeks lead time before the planned implementation. The funding application includes, besides the association’s contact details, a brief overview of the project’s objectives, timeline, and budget. Since the funding is continuously open for applications, submissions can be made at any time. Interested associations receive prompt feedback and consultation to ensure smooth processing and timely provision of funds.
