Description
The nationwide funding program "Strengthening Children and Youth" by Aktion Mensch is aimed at non-profit organizations that wish to implement projects to improve the living conditions of young people – with and without disabilities. The initiative supports endeavors that aim to sustainably promote the personal development of child and youth participants and improve their social participation. With grants of up to €450,000 and funding rates of up to 90%, personnel costs, fees, material costs, and investments as well as costs for creating accessibility are financially supported. Applications can be submitted continuously, emphasizing flexible and needs-based access to the funding.
The program focuses on creating inclusive, participatory, and sustainable projects specifically designed to improve opportunities for children, adolescents, and young adults (up to 27 years). The funding covers all measures that make a concrete contribution to strengthening individual potentials and active social participation.
