Funding Projects of the Carl Isler Foundation – Protestant City Mission Freiburg

The Carl Isler Foundation – Funding Foundation of the Evangelical City Mission Freiburg continuously supports non-profit initiatives, public institutions, as well as private individuals in Baden-Württemberg who are active in the fields of social affairs, health, migration, children and youth, as well as education and training. The goal is to step in where public funds are insufficient and to ensure a sustainable social benefit for the Freiburg region. Projects are funded in the areas of elderly care, addiction support, railway station mission, integration, youth education, and environment, as well as innovative initiatives by institutions and projects of the City Mission. Selection is based on clear evaluation criteria: alignment with the foundation’s purpose, deployment where public funds are lacking, and sustainable local impact. With straightforward funding modalities, the Carl Isler Foundation offers committed local actors the opportunity to implement ideas that benefit people in need in the Freiburg region. Each funded measure contributes to strengthening the diverse social services of the Evangelical City Mission Freiburg and promoting the participation of seniors, individuals with addiction, refugees, youth, and homeless people.
