Description

The Society for Energy and Climate Protection Schleswig-Holstein (EKSH) promotes projects in Schleswig-Holstein aimed at sustainable energy production, improved energy efficiency, and the use of renewable energies. Grants of up to 100% of eligible costs are available for measures in the areas of energy consumption, supply, and management, sustainable mobility, as well as environmental and nature conservation. Additionally, research projects on innovative energy concepts, educational measures, and public relations are supported. Funding can be granted for a period of up to 36 months and offers all project sponsors – from educational institutions and companies to private individuals – the opportunity to set climate policy impulses locally and to transfer knowledge into practice over the long term.

Eligible applicants are natural and legal persons with a seat or activity in Schleswig-Holstein who do not pursue primarily commercial objectives. Scientific and research-oriented projects must ensure subsequent knowledge transfer. Applications can be submitted informally to EKSH at any time without fixed deadlines. Prior consultation with the responsible staff is recommended to coordinate project content and facilitate the application process. The funding guidelines and forms relevant for the application provide clear guidance for a successful funding request.
