Herzogsägmühle Funding Foundation

The Herzogsägmühle Support Foundation is committed to the preservation and further development of the Diakonie Village Herzogsägmühle in the Bavarian Pfaffenwinkel region, thereby strengthening a unique village community. Through endowments and donations, secure revenues are generated, which are specifically directed towards housing and care services for people with disadvantages, illnesses, or disabilities. The foundation’s capital remains untouched, ensuring that the funding has a long-term impact and sustainable structures can be established for children, adolescents, homeless women and men, individuals with mental illnesses, people with intellectual disabilities, persons struggling with addiction, as well as elderly citizens. The foundation was approved by the Government of Upper Bavaria in September 2000 and is supervised by the same authority as well as audited by a foundation council committee.

Private individuals, companies, and other foundations can increase the foundation’s capital at any time through one-time donations or regular contributions, thereby promoting the diversity of support services. The support foundation offers tax benefits in accordance with applicable non-profit law: donations and endowments are deductible as special or business expenses within legal limits, and the foundation’s capital remains permanently preserved. Through the commitment of a broadly based circle of supporters, not only is quality of life enabled, but also a strong societal statement for participation and inclusion is made. Regular contributions help to consolidate the foundation’s capital and continuously expand the living environment of the Diakonie Village Herzogsägmühle for disadvantaged fellow citizens.
