Funding Foundations of the Diakonie Umbrella Foundation

The funding foundations of the Dachstiftung Diakonie support non-profit foundations, organizations, and public institutions nationwide through both non-material and financial grants. The focus is on diaconal fields of action: from elderly care and integration assistance to rehabilitation, education and training, as well as refugee aid, child and youth welfare, family support, and housing and homelessness assistance. Through their work, the funding foundations ensure sustainable support services for seniors, families, children and youth, refugees, and homeless individuals, and they support infrastructure and urban development projects as well as modern housing initiatives. Donations and endowments can be made continuously—either individually or in collaboration with experts and local initiatives—to further develop and expand diaconal services in line with needs.

Eligible for funding are foundations, non-profit organizations, and public institutions that are operational carriers of the Dachstiftung Diakonie or operate within the diaconal environment. A particular emphasis is placed on strengthening projects that are designed to be inclusive and participatory and that generate sustainable impact. The continuous funding opportunity enables flexible financing models and long-term partnerships. Interested organizations can submit their projects for review at any time and benefit from the expertise of the Dachstiftung Diakonie.
