Description
The Vorarlberg state government supports the structural development of early childhood education and care facilities in Vorarlberg through a grant program. The focus is on new constructions and expansions as well as the purchase, adaptation, and renovation of existing buildings. The goal is to create optimal conditions for toddler and kindergarten groups and, in particular, to expand the prerequisites for all-day care services. Applications can be submitted continuously until the allocated funding volume is exhausted, thus providing great planning security for providers who aim to rely on child-friendly spaces and modern infrastructure in the long term.
Eligible for funding are public institutions and non-profit organizations that act as legal entities of early childhood education and care facilities in Vorarlberg and comply with all relevant legal provisions and regulations. The grant program covers all expenses for new construction, expansion, renovation, adaptation, or building purchase and also supports measures that enable all-day group supervision. To apply, a web form must be submitted; depending on the measure, supplementary documents are to be attached. The administration and monitoring of the funds are carried out by the responsible Department IIa Early Childhood Education, School, and Society of the State of Vorarlberg, which oversees the proper implementation of the projects.
