Description

The Everyday Heroes Foundation for the Rights of Single Parents supports innovative projects nationwide that aim to sustainably improve the living conditions of single-parent families and dismantle discriminatory structures. With a funding program that addresses not only education and public relations but also social engagement in the areas of children and youth as well as work & social affairs, the initiative is directed at non-profit organizations. By funding projects that particularly focus on single parents who are refugees or immigrants, a contribution is made to social participation. Funding is provided via a grant covering 80% of eligible costs – including fees, personnel costs, and material expenses. Additionally, the foundation places special emphasis on project applications being submitted online and all required documents, such as the tax exemption certificate, being provided in digital form.

The funding program, designed for a project duration of 12 months, invites organizations to develop ideas that pursue innovative approaches in educational and informational work as well as in public relations. Special attention is given to the development of concepts that think outside the box and demonstrate new ways to support single parents. Through targeted support of this program, the foundation makes an important contribution to strengthening single-parent families and reducing discrimination in our society. Projects that stand out due to their high degree of innovation and sustainable impact are of particular interest.

The foundation requires applicants to comply with certain criteria, including the submission of a detailed cost and financing plan as well as a comprehensive project description. Applications can be submitted online by March 31 and September 30 each year, with funding decisions made within six weeks after the deadline. With a funding amount of up to €10,000 per project, the offer is aimed at non-profit organizations that wish to develop innovative solutions in close partnership to improve the living conditions of single parents. This funding program thus represents an attractive opportunity to implement socially relevant projects that contribute to creating an inclusive and supportive environment for single parents.
