Funding of the Ascent Foundation (ascent Foundation up close) – Funding Projects

The Ascent Foundation supports innovative social initiatives nationwide that are engaged in the fields of child and youth welfare, education, care, women's empowerment, work & social affairs, vocational training, as well as agriculture and rural development. As a non-profit foundation, it grants subsidies to non-profit organizations, public institutions, interest groups, and associations. The focus is on projects that open up new perspectives for children and young people, expand educational and care services, and strengthen women in difficult life situations. In addition, international development projects are supported, for example in the context of skills schools or protection and aid facilities for girls and women. Funding can be applied for throughout the year, enabling flexible planning and prompt implementation of the initiatives.

Eligible to apply are non-profit and public sponsors as well as associations that submit a convincing concept for the sustainable implementation of social projects. An informal contact form suffices as an application; further documents are provided if necessary. The funding objectives include the expansion of educational infrastructure, the improvement of care quality, and the creation of safe spaces for those in need of protection. The commitment of the Ascent Foundation aims to build long-term structures and strengthen local actors in their work.
