Description
With funds from the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+), the state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania supports the part-time qualification of employees in companies to sustainably adapt skilled workers to technical, economic, and demographic changes. Both general further training in the form of education vouchers and company-specific projects for competence assessment, needs analysis, and professional qualification are funded. Between 50 and 70% of eligible expenses per measure are subsidized, but no more than €3,000 per education voucher. Eligible costs include, among others, course fees for external service providers, competence assessments, and qualification measures. Non-reimbursable costs include, inter alia, value-added tax with input tax deduction, cash discounts, rebates, examination fees, as well as legally mandated qualifications.
Eligible to participate are companies of all sizes with headquarters, branches, or establishments in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. A prerequisite is the application submission before the start of the measure and the use of suitable, independent external service providers without close corporate ties. Companies in difficulty are excluded. For the application, among other things, a formal application including annexes 1 and 2, a current commercial register excerpt, business registration or entry in the professional register, as well as offers and proof of suitability of the external service providers are required. Applications can be submitted immediately until 31 December 2026; the approval period extends over a maximum of 24 months.
