Support for the BRAWO Foundation Community

The BRAWO Donor Community supports non-profit organizations, foundations, public institutions, educational institutions, interest groups, and associations in Lower Saxony with financial grants. Eligible projects include areas such as youth and elderly care, environmental and climate protection, animal welfare, arts and culture, education and upbringing, healthcare, sports, monument preservation, disaster protection, as well as civic engagement and rural development. Funding is provided on an ongoing basis, allowing applications to be submitted at any time. Projects that align with the statutory purposes and generate sustainable societal benefits are supported. A clear regional connection to Gifhorn, Peine, Wolfsburg, or the surrounding area is also part of the evaluation, as is the long-term impact of the measure.

For a successful application, a detailed project description, proof of non-profit status, and a plausible cost and financing plan must be submitted. Recognition as a non-profit institution and compliance with the donor community’s statutory purposes are prerequisites. Selection is based on the fulfillment of statutory objectives, the sustainability of the project, and its regional relevance.
