Applications may be submitted by private individuals, non-profit organizations, and companies, provided the projects correspond to the foundation’s purpose and are implemented within the funding area. Excluded are commercial events, political groups, projects of government institutions, long-term financing, as well as project costs for personnel and ongoing operating expenses (except as start-up funding). The application must include a detailed project description with a timeline and objectives, a financing plan, the statutes and annual report of the applying institution, the most recent tax exemption certificate, and references. A brief preliminary check via written inquiry is recommended before submitting the complete documents to the board.
