Description

The Brungs Foundation supports nonprofit organizations nationwide that aim to strengthen the selfless helpers in emergency services. Financial grants in the four-digit euro range are provided to support both complete projects and urgently needed equipment purchases. The focus is on initiatives that directly relieve emergency personnel in their work and optimize on-site equipment. The continuous allocation of funds enables associations and initiatives to respond flexibly to acute needs and to implement long-term concepts for improving rescue operations.

There is no formal deadline: applications can be submitted informally at any time via email. A valid exemption notice must be attached as a copy by the applicants. In the cover letter, organizations should briefly introduce themselves, clearly state the project objective and the requested funding amount, and—if specific materials have already been identified—include product details or manufacturer information. The decision on approval is made flexibly based on the availability of funds; partial funding of incomplete projects is not provided. Upon completion of the funded measure, proof such as a photo, brief report, or similar documentation is requested to demonstrate the sustainable impact in line with the foundation’s purposes. In this way, the Brungs Foundation makes a lasting contribution to improving the conditions of emergency services and effectively supporting the commitment of the helpers.
