Description

The Bürgerstiftung Herzebrock-Clarholz supports non-profit organizations, public institutions, associations, and initiatives based in North Rhine-Westphalia with one-time grants for local project implementation. Funded are projects in the areas of education, sports, culture, monument preservation, social affairs, health, child and youth welfare, environmental and nature conservation, migration, vocational training and further education, as well as cultural and media work. A prerequisite is non-profit status or public sponsorship, as well as the location or implementation of the project in Herzebrock-Clarholz. Eligible to apply are interest groups as well as other associations that strengthen the sense of community locally through model character, local generalizability, and the inclusion of minorities or disadvantaged groups. Voluntary participation and concepts based on the self-help approach are also taken into account. Eligible costs include personnel, material, and ongoing expenses, provided that sustainable financing after the expiration of the grants is demonstrated.

For an ongoing application process, a fully completed funding form is required, supplemented by a detailed financing plan and a written project report including information on purpose, objectives, schedule, target group, budget, and public relations. Deadlines are aligned with the first Monday of each quarter; funding applications should be submitted at least two weeks prior to this date. The board meets regularly and decides taking into account funding criteria such as model and exemplary character, local relevance, and intercultural understanding.
