Support for the Krefeld Community Foundation

The Bürgerstiftung Krefeld continuously supports non-profit projects and initiatives in North Rhine-Westphalia, with a focus on the city of Krefeld. Eligible for funding are, for example, associations, interest groups, non-profit organizations, and committed private individuals engaged in the fields of education, children and youth, culture, environmental and nature conservation, monument protection, as well as in the area of civic engagement for social cohesion/democracy and vocational training & further education. The aim of the grant allocation is the sustainable development of non-governmental initiatives locally. Selection is based on criteria such as local relevance, sustainability aspects, and the promotion of education and culture. Applications can be submitted at any time, allowing interested parties to plan flexibly without a fixed deadline.

For a complete application, a meaningful project description, a detailed financing plan, and proof of non-profit status are required. Funding is particularly provided for projects that demonstrate a clear sustainability or educational focus and address various target groups such as children, youth, families, seniors, or intergenerational groups. By providing financial resources, the foundation makes an important contribution to strengthening local infrastructure, climate protection, and cultural diversity in Krefeld.
