Description

The Carl Hans Foundation is committed in North Rhine-Westphalia to supporting children and young people up to the age of 21 residing in the city of Wiehl. With freely available grants, the foundation supports both individuals and projects and associations involved in child and youth work. Special consideration is given to half-orphans or full orphans as well as minors from single-parent households, in order to create equal opportunities in education, culture, health, and social life. Applicant organizations must be registered as tax-privileged associations or public-law corporations and must implement their projects within one year; reapplication is possible. The evaluation of funding applications is conducted continuously by the board and advisory council, with no legal entitlement to funding.

For application submission, the completed PDF form is required, which can be submitted in writing at any time. The funding period is set at twelve months, after which a report on the use of funds must be provided. Approved funds are transferred directly to service providers, institutions, or associations. A repayment obligation may be triggered in cases of misuse, non-use, or changes to the statutes. The foundation’s overall strategy aims to integrate young people of all cultures and religions into society, open up perspectives for them, and sustainably strengthen community engagement in Wiehl.»
