Funding of the DRH Foundation Children's Aid

The DRH Foundation for Child Aid supports independent individual projects in Saxony that strengthen disadvantaged children and adolescents in their participation in education, leisure, and social life. Private individuals as well as non-profit organizations can submit time-limited measures in the areas of education, leisure, sports, and social care for application. The goal is the full coverage of project-related costs up to a funding amount of €10,000 per individual project. The foundation is guided by criteria such as the necessity and viability of the concept, required public impact, and proof of need fulfillment. 100% of the specified expenses (project, care, material, and operating costs) are granted as a one-time subsidy, while institutional permanent facilities and services primarily funded by social or youth welfare offices are excluded.

An eligible project must have a defined financial framework and be documented through a written application via PDF form. A permanent residence in Saxony and proof of need (e.g., Hartz IV notice) are prerequisites. After a positive preliminary review by the foundation committee (decision within four weeks), implementation is carried out in advance by the applicants. Upon completion, original invoices are submitted and the committed amount is paid out. Applications can be submitted at any time, allowing committed initiatives to be supported flexibly and without bureaucracy.
