Promotion of the Implementation of Vocational Training and Information Measures in the Agricultural Sector

The program "Support for the Implementation of Vocational Training and Information Measures in the Agricultural Sector" assists recognized educational providers in Hamburg in the design and execution of vocational continuing education and information offerings for employees and trainees in micro-enterprises as well as small and medium-sized enterprises. The goal is to strengthen production-technical knowledge, business management skills, environmental and animal welfare practices, as well as to promote new technologies, business fields, and the professional qualification of women. Up to 100% of eligible expenses are covered, with honorarium costs for speakers reimbursable up to EUR 1,500 per day. Only measures with a minimum of eight participants and a completion certificate or diploma are eligible for funding.

Eligible participants are persons with business premises, workplaces, or training positions in Hamburg or agriculturally managed land within the city. The measures must be open to all agricultural actors in Hamburg and ensure proper business management and appropriate use of funds. Companies in difficulty and those with unresolved EU aid recovery claims are excluded. An evaluation form must be completed and submitted by all participants. Applications can be submitted continuously until the start of the measure to the Authority for Environment, Climate, Energy and Agriculture.
