Funding of the WIFI Institutions

The funding of the WIFI facilities in Eisenstadt, Neusiedl am See, Stoob, and Oberwart supports public institutions in Burgenland in the modernization and expansion of their teaching and laboratory infrastructure. In particular, IT training labs benefit from grants to ensure current technical standards and thereby strengthen future-oriented training offerings. The goal is the contemporary equipment of all classrooms and laboratories to enable practical continuing education in the areas of initial and further training as well as digitization and to sustainably expand regional educational structures.

Interested institutions can submit an informal application continuously and provide original invoices or receipts documenting the material costs incurred during renewal or expansion. A project description in the application form as well as the original invoices for the requested equipment items are required. Funding is provided within an indefinite period, based on a government resolution and the budget of the State of Burgenland. In this way, continuous adaptation of the technical infrastructure to current requirements is ensured without the need to observe fixed submission deadlines.
