Description

The Energiestiftung Sintfeld supports charitable projects within the city area of Bad Wünnenberg with biannual grants on March 15 and September 15. Eligible projects include those in the fields of education and upbringing, youth and elderly care, public health, sports, culture and arts, monument preservation, environmental and nature conservation, landscape management, as well as sustainable and rational energy use. Applicants must be recognized as non-profit organizations, including associations and foundations, legal entities under private law, or private individuals, provided that the statutory purposes are fulfilled. Priority is given to initiatives that strengthen civic engagement locally and offer long-term benefits to the Sintfeld region.

For the application, the complete official funding form, a current statute, an extract from the association or commercial register, and the corporate tax exemption certificate must be submitted. In addition, an appropriate amount of own funds must be demonstrated, and written financing commitments from third parties must be provided. It is a prerequisite that the project location is within the city area of Bad Wünnenberg and that the statutory purposes are implemented bindingly. Upon positive approval, the disbursement is made in the form of a grant, whereby compliance with the approved cost and financing plan as well as the timely submission of a proof of use are required. This transparent funding practice ensures that funds are used economically and projects in the region are sustainably strengthened.
