Description
This funding program of the State of Tyrol supports public institutions, non-profit organizations, and private individuals in the planning and implementation of development policy projects in OECD-DAC countries. Activities in the areas of agricultural development, education, health, social affairs, municipal services, as well as income- and employment-promoting measures are funded. The focus is on infrastructural investments such as water and electricity supply, as well as development policy information and educational work or international humanitarian aid. Funding amounts range from €1,000 to €100,000 per project with a funding rate of 100%. Continuous submission opportunities offer flexibility, while alignment with at least one Sustainable Development Goal ensures global relevance.
Applications are submitted exclusively online via the State of Tyrol’s form and require verifiable ties to Tyrol. Projects must be located in a DAC country and are characterized by significant involvement of target groups, initiative, and local adaptation. Sustainability, verifiability of results, and consideration of gender aspects are required. Projects without secured overall financing or those intended for debt repayment are excluded. Deadlines vary depending on the type of funding: Tyrolean priority projects until July 31, Tyrolean initiatives and EIB until April 30 and October 31, while funding for humanitarian aid and donation matching can be submitted year-round.
