Funding of the Erich Mundstock Foundation

Since 1998, the Erich Mundstock Foundation has been committed in Braunschweig and the district of Peine to projects that open up new perspectives for children, adolescents, and people who depend on support due to age, illness, or disability. Gifted pupils, trainees, and students receive funding, as do initiatives in social, health, and educational fields. Up to €10,000 per application can be requested as a non-repayable grant. Funding decisions are based on alignment with the guidelines anchored in the statutes and the regional implementation of the projects.

Interested private individuals and non-profit organizations with proof of residence or headquarters in the aforementioned regions may submit their applications at any time. To ensure transparent assessment of eligibility for funding, the submission of a fully completed application form is required, supplemented by a detailed project description, timeline, and budget composition. The committee evaluates the alignment with the foundation’s principles as well as the practical implementation on site. Continuous submission opportunities facilitate project planning and enable flexible allocation of funds. Through careful review and strict adherence to formal requirements, the foundation specifically supports people whose potential or life situation would otherwise be insufficiently promoted, thereby contributing to the sustainable development of the region.
