Description

The Ernst-Michael-Kranich Foundation awards financial grants nationwide to non-profit organizations, educational institutions, interest groups, and associations whose work is based on the anthroposophical cultural impulse. Projects and institutions in the fields of education and upbringing, youth welfare, science and research, as well as art and culture are supported. Particular focus is placed on institutions of Waldorf education, Goetheanistic research approaches, and artistic-social initiatives. The foundation continuously makes its available funds accessible upon application and supports projects that make an innovative and sustainable contribution to anthroposophical development. The goal is to provide contemporary impulses for future-oriented education and cultural development and to strengthen science and research from Rudolf Steiner’s perspective.

Primarily interested are non-profit organizations, schools, kindergartens, and associations in the German-speaking region that wish to implement projects with an anthroposophical focus. Requirements for funding include non-profit status, activity in the specified funding areas, and alignment with the anthroposophical cultural impulse. Evaluation is based on conformity with the foundation’s objectives, the degree of anthroposophical orientation, as well as the innovativeness and long-term impact of the project. Since there are no fixed deadlines, funding applications can be submitted at any time. The Ernst-Michael-Kranich Foundation thus supports both established initiatives and novel projects that impress through creativity and social relevance.
