Eligible for funding are primarily educational institutions and public organizations that submit a concept for implementation. A verifiable connection to the State of Lower Austria is required—either through location or project implementation—as well as a contribution to the objectives of the Lower Austria Cultural Promotion Act 1996 and the corresponding regional development plans. Additionally, own contributions and third-party financing must be transparently presented. For the application, a written funding request, proof of connection to Lower Austria, a detailed project description, and a financing plan with a breakdown of all own contributions are required. The funding is granted as a direct subsidy and supports projects of any scale that contribute to strengthening lifelong learning and improving the educational structure of the region in the long term.
