Description
The funding offer is aimed at parents, foster parents, and single parents with low net income in Bavaria who wish to book a joint recreational vacation or participate in parent and family education weekends. A subsidy of up to 90 percent of the eligible accommodation and catering costs will be granted. For each day of catering, up to €19.50 can be granted for eligible children and adults, and up to €25.50 for children with disabilities. For weekend events in parent and family education, support amounts to up to €27.00 per child and €30.50 per adult.
The main residence must be in Bavaria, and the family income must be below the legally established limits. Only accommodation and catering costs are eligible for funding, while travel, admission, and other incidental costs are excluded. The recreational stay in a recognized family holiday facility must be between six and a maximum of 14 catering days; additionally, participation in a weekend seminar with at least 13 instructional units is required. Applications can be submitted at any time but must be received at least three weeks before the start of the measure and prior to a binding booking. Proofs include, among others, the child benefit receipt, the complete income tax assessment notice from the year before last, or—in case of benefit receipt—a notice under SGB II/SGB XII or regarding child allowance or housing benefit. Payment is made after review and receipt of all required documents.
