Description
For over five decades, the Friedrich Flick Support Foundation has been supporting talented young professionals, scientists, and students as well as non-profit organizations, educational and social institutions, and cultural initiatives in Germany and Austria. The focus is on funding in the fields of economics, technology, and research, as well as targeted talent promotion. In addition, projects and initiatives in education, pedagogy, social and youth welfare, disability assistance, as well as art and culture are supported. With a nationwide approach, the foundation funds both individual measures and institutional projects, thereby contributing to the strengthening of science, innovation, and social engagement.
Funding applications can be submitted at any time; however, due to limited resources, a preliminary inquiry with a brief project description by letter or email is recommended. The foundation provides grants as the form of funding, which may only be used for statutory purposes. For tax-privileged institutions, proof of non-profit status must also be provided. Generally, a concise project description outlining key aspects such as objectives, target group, and expected benefits suffices as an application. The continuously open deadlines allow for flexible planning, while personal consultation beforehand increases the chances of success and offers guidance to interested parties.
