Description

Since its founding in 2004, the Non-Profit Savings Bank Foundation of Lübeck has continuously supported tax-privileged institutions and public-law corporations in the Hanseatic City of Lübeck. With a funding focus on education, culture, buildings and monument preservation, as well as environmental and nature conservation, the foundation makes a significant contribution to strengthening youth and elderly care, sports, and engagement for social cohesion and democracy. Additionally, it promotes projects in the areas of vocational training & further education, culture & media, infrastructure & urban development, as well as energy efficiency & climate protection. By 2023, more than €45 million from the earnings of Sparkasse zu Lübeck AG have already been invested in over 1,600 projects to sustainably promote cultural and social cohesion in the Schleswig-Holstein region.
