Description

The funding provided by the Graf von Zinzendorf-Pottek Foundation is aimed at non-profit organizations engaged in church-based and free church children’s and youth work of the Protestant confession, as well as Protestant and confessional schools throughout Germany. The goal is the targeted strengthening of educational and social projects that align with the guiding principles of the Evangelical Alliance. Both traditional youth work and school-based concepts are considered, provided they are supported by churches, free churches, or corresponding associations and have ecumenical references. Through a nationwide open funding guideline, the foundation continuously offers grants to support the Protestant profile locally and to sustainably promote educational work.

Interested institutions may submit an application at any time in accordance with the funding guidelines. A prerequisite for a positive evaluation is the submission of the statutes as well as the educational concept, which must substantially correspond with the foundation of the Evangelical Alliance. Selection is based on the criterion of content congruence with the established guiding principles. This procedure provides the funding foundation with a detailed insight into the Protestant profile of the applicants. The complete funding guidelines can be requested from the foundation to ensure a smooth application process and to enable the realization of forward-looking educational and social projects.
