Funding objective

The purpose of the foundation is to raise funds for the promotion of youth welfare in accordance with § 52 para. 2 no. 2 AO. Description

The Gudruns Children’s Foundation – Foundation in Memory of Gudrun Kockmann-Schadendorf is dedicated to promoting child and youth welfare in Schleswig-Holstein. In particular, initiatives in and around Bad Bramstedt are supported with financial resources to sustainably strengthen educational, social, and qualification projects. The foundation exclusively pursues charitable purposes within the meaning of the German Fiscal Code (§ 52 para. 2 no. 2 AO) and acts selflessly, without any commercial interests. There is no legal entitlement to grants; allocation is project-based and subject to available funds.

Eligible for funding are non-profit organizations, educational institutions, and public bodies active in child and youth welfare. This includes kindergartens, primary schools, youth centers, children’s and youth groups, as well as corresponding associations. Grants are awarded for training and continuing education measures, social services, and activities in the labor and social sectors. A prerequisite is a location in Bad Bramstedt or its immediate vicinity, as well as the non-profit status of the applying institution. Applications can be submitted continuously, allowing for flexible project planning. Interested institutions are invited to submit their funding proposals with a project description and financial plan to actively contribute to the positive development of regional child and youth welfare.
