The Hildesheim Education Foundation supports non-profit associations, educational institutions, and public bodies in the city and district of Hildesheim in implementing time-limited projects in the field of education and upbringing. With a funding rate of up to 100%, innovative initiatives are promoted that contribute to strengthening educational equity and reducing disparities in opportunities. The focus is on initiatives for early childhood support, performance enhancement, and the acquisition of additional educational qualifications, vocational training for young people, as well as projects in research, science, and business that advance the regional development process. Key evaluation criteria include volunteer involvement, model and exemplary character, innovativeness, effectiveness, as well as networking and transferability. Eligible expenses include material costs, administrative costs (max. 5% of total costs), as well as scholarships or grants. Travel expenses, construction measures, and projects already covered by municipal budgets or public services are excluded.
