Description
The curatoria of vocational and general higher education schools as well as their HTL departments in the Vorarlberg region, which wish to invest in mechanical infrastructure, are eligible for funding. The program, designed as a grant, aims to ensure a modern and efficient school infrastructure in the field of technical education. The focus is on mechanical equipment, technical installations, and workshops that support teaching in engineering, craft, and scientific disciplines. The funding is intended to achieve a sustainable development of training conditions to meet the increasing demands of the economy and the needs of learners.
Applications can be submitted at any time throughout the year or before the project start to the Department of General Economic Affairs of the Office of the Vorarlberg State Government. Applicants must submit a written request including a project description; the application must be made by a general or vocational higher education school in Vorarlberg. Funding commitments are granted after reviewing eligibility in accordance with the General Funding Guidelines. The quota depends on the funds allocated in the state budget. Through the continuous awarding of flexible grants, the program contributes to strengthening regional educational infrastructure and promoting future-oriented training concepts. The funding period is unlimited and strengthens the long-term competitiveness of the education location Vorarlberg.
