Description

The funding supports the International Anti-Corruption Academy (IACA) in ensuring the long-term operation of its academy at the Laxenburg location, Münchendorfer Straße. Non-profit organizations and public institutions are eligible to apply for grants to cover the base rent for the property as well as expenses in the areas of personnel costs, operating expenses, equipment, travel, and events. In particular, costs for meetings of the International Senior Advisory Board are funded, as well as other event-related expenses and the travel costs of international speakers. This funding makes a significant contribution to strengthening education and training, research, and innovation in the fight against corruption and further intensifies international cooperation in this sensitive field.

A written funding application and the conclusion of a funding agreement are the central prerequisites for a positive funding decision. Budgeting must be demonstrated in the application to ensure the continuous operation of the academy. Applications can be submitted at any time until August 31, 2035. This long-term deadline provides ample scope for the ongoing planning and implementation of training and research projects. Interested parties are encouraged to prepare their application carefully and to detail all eligible expenses – from rent and personnel and equipment costs to travel and event expenses. In this way, the IACA can be sustainably strengthened both in terms of personnel and infrastructure and continue to act as a hub for international experts in anti-corruption efforts.
